I have pimples on my buttocks

Our dermatologist's opinion
This is probably a case of folliculitis, an infection of the sebaceous hair follicle due to a germ, the golden staphylococcus. Rubbing, maceration, excessive perspiration, excess weight and other factors can favour folliculitis. Treatment consists in application of antiseptics and if necessary local antibiotics, rarely to be taken orally. If the infection returns frequently, a chronic source of germs on the skin would have to be sought.

Your dermatologist will be able to advise you on the best treatment to rid yourself of these inconveniences. However, you cannot use antiseptics all year round. The rest of the time, use a shower gel that, thanks to a slightly acid pH, will allow the skin and skin flora to re-establish itself. Do not forget that the average pH of the skin is 5.6.

I suggest you...

Integral Shower Gel pH 4.5
